Well, a lot has happened the last few weeks. I've been so busy since the last post that I haven't had a chance to get on here. That and I've been a bit lazy. Oh well. Anywho. Let's see. Last time I was on here it was after Michael's opening where I ended up running into Eli. Since then, I went with Michael and Eli to an Gay Asian Party for Halloween. Kelly asked me if I wanted to go the Wednesday prior to Halloween and I said why not since I really didn't have any plans.
The night before Halloween, I ended up getting the day off and went to have dinner with Tina in San Mateo. I forgot what I did, but it took me a while to get there. I pretty busy that day and I can't even recall what I did. The next day, I went to join them at Yaoi Con and had a pretty good time. There were a few cute boys in costume that I took pictures of. We walked around the dealer room and I ended up buying some drawing to put up in my room. They are a bit racy, but I needed to have some visuals up so that I can have that in my life. I even bought this really awesome drawing of Robin in which he is really hot in. After having lunch with them, I took off to go do some grocery shopping for the Halloween potluck.
I was going to make Pancit Canton and I had to go to several stores to purchase all the ingredients. I was on a tight schedule and ended up having to rush to get ready and prepare the entree. I was supposed to meet up with Michael and Eli at the mall, but there was no way I was going to make it in time especially if I was going to be taking public transportation. I told them that I would meet them up in front of Deisel. It was an interesting night. Everybody was out and about. I thought I was going to be the one that was late, but it turned out that I ended up waiting for them to arrive. I guess the train was really busy. Poor Michael is claustrophobic, but he managed.
We walked down the street and headed for the party. It was just a few blocks from where we met up. It was a small house. I remember thinking how 100 people would fit in there. There were many Asians at the party dressed up in different costumes most of which were in sailor uniforms. We were the three amigos that everybody talked about it seemed. We had a pretty good time though. There weren't very many white guys there at least none who were interested in either Eli and I. It was pretty much a party for Michael since he's into that type. We met some really cool people though. There was a guy who looked like Chandler from friends, another guy who looked like Ian McLellan, and another guy who looked just like David Boreanaz from Angel. I think there was a total of 10 white guys there, none of them interested. Michael had a lot of fans though. Then again, he is a great catch, so I wouldn't blame them.
Later that evening, a Filipino guy came in a security guard outfit. He had a pretty cool personality. He was the type that just had that radiance about him. Randomly through the party we would run into each other and talk. The kicker about the entire night was when he made out with me out of the blue. I couldn't believe it. I'm not into Filipino's at all and Eli knows it, but it was nice to make out so I didn't stop him. He took off and I looked at Eli in amazement. We couldn't believe what just happened. I couldn't believe what just happened. Anyway, he came back several times during the evening and made out with me some more. There was even one point where he started making out with Eli and I came up behind him to make out with him from behind. It was an interesting night. But wait it gets more interesting.
After the party, Michael wasn't feeling too well, so Eli took him back home. The Filipino guy wanted to hang out after and invited Eli. Eli said that he would come back after taking Michael home. I ended up hanging out with the guy after cleaning up after the party. We walked around and saw that the streets were incredibly packed with people. He bought some alcohol and we drank some as we walked up and down the street. After a while, we went into a club and sat down. We started to rub each other and make out. We weren't even there 5 minutes and the club announces that they are closed for alcohol and it was only midnight. So, he wanted to go take a walk to the park. Once we got there we started making out and he gave me a bj. It was hot. I couldn't believe that it was happening. We had to stop though because there were people around. We ended up going back to my place and f'ng. It was cool because I pitched, but I couldn't get off. We cuddled after he came the rest of the night. He wasn't feeling good and kept getting up to go use the bathroom every so often. It got to the point where I ended up taking him back to his car to go back home the next morning. We exchanged numbers and that was the last I heard of him. I really didn't expect anything from it, so it was cool.
That following weekend I had dinner with Michael and his new friend Gary. Gary was cool. We met up at the mall before having dinner at Nirvana. I had just had a late lunch with Tom, so I just had some soup. The waiter was pretty cute. I was flirting with him a bit. I sensed that Michael was into Gary, but Gary wasn't reciprocating. After dinner, Michael wasn't feeling too well, so we stopped by the local drug store to get something for him. Gary got a little weird when he got upset over us not getting the medication he suggested. I thought that was pretty weird. Anyway, I headed back home after that.
This past week was a very, very busy week for me. Not that the one prior to that was any better, but whatever. I went to get my physical and saw this baby. She was so adorable. I felt very maternal and wanted to have one so bad. I sent Michael a text message about it and he responded by saying that he would be my baby. I thought that was sweet. The rest of the week was exhausting. Anyway, Friday night, Michael sends me a text message saying that he was lonely. I was half asleep, but I told him that I was sympathetic towards him. Unfortunately, I was so tired that I couldn't go and spend time with him. I felt bad.
Last night I was supposed to attend the Thanksgiving dinner in the South Bay, but I wasn't feeling up to it because of the week. I called up Eli and told him that I wasn't going to make it. He called back and said the same thing. After work though, I felt like I wasn't tired anymore. I guess since I had the weekend to look forward to and I wasn't at work, the exhaustion disappeared. I decided to call up Michael and asked him if he wanted to hang out. He was very happy to. So, I got home, showered, changed, and headed over there. I ended up sending text messages to all these people. It was insane. It kept me busy throughout the whole bus ride to the mall. By the time I got there, I had to wait for a bit while Michael was finishing up a project. I ended up spending some time on the phone with my buddy Billy. After Michael was finished, we went to go have dinner at a Japanese restaurant on the way to his apartment. We had a great time talking about stuff. He makes me laugh. He told me that he finds me very attractive, but that I wasn't his type. I asked him why he was feeling depressed and he told me why. I ended up talking him up and made him feel better. He says that he really had a great time and he was very sincere about it.
Today, I ended up doing some laundry and cleaning up after Tom. It was so annoying. Anywho, his excuse was that he was going to do it this morning and that some of it wasn't his. Whatever. Anyway, Danny called me about going to lunch with him and his bf, but I didn't get the message in time. Billy however, did call me up and wanted to hang out. So, I met him up for lunch at Miyabi's. I was hoping to see my handsome guy there, but of course that didn't happen. We had a great time talking. Then, we went to the Park to sit and observe. He read his book for his assignment while I did some people watching. After a while, I headed over to see Michael. He told me about the new guy he was hiring that night. His name was Steven and he is tall and very attractive. I sensed that he was a hetero, but he was cool. It turns out he's from SLO county and just moved here a year ago. Michael wanted to go see Disney's a Christmas Carol, so we went to buy the tickets before going to get some dinner at Buca's. We had a pretty good time and enjoyed our dinner. We headed to the movie theater to watch the show and we met this guy named David who managed to pick up a conversation with Michael. He was pretty cool. The movie was nice. I had a pretty good time. And that's about it so far. Tom didn't do crap when I got home. I was hoping that he would have done it, but that's wishful thinking. Whatever. So, I did it anyway. I'm getting tired though, so I'm off to bed. Until next time.
Michael had his first opening today and I went to go support him, but when I got there, he wasn't there. Fortunately, I walked up the same time Eli came. Eli introduced me to Michael's associate who mentioned the brunch at our introduction. It turns out Michael went to return some vehicles and wouldn't be back for a few hours. So, Eli and I went to go have dinner. We sat and talked about Rent, guys, etc. We decided to play a joke on Michael and text messaged him at the same time. Well, he figured it out. Anyway, I told him to text me when he got back while Eli and I walked around and talked for a bit about relationships past and present. I told Eli a secret to help him understand his situation and make it better. We went down to meet up with Michael, but he was pre-occupied with a possible customer. I couldn't stay too long. So, I was only able to say hi and tell Michael that I was there to support him on his first day. He sat down and played me a song on the piano. It was like a serenade. I gave him a hug, kissed him on the cheek and thanked him. He also played Eli something from the same group. It was cool. I talked with him for a brief moment before I headed back home. I am so happy and grateful that I met such great friends. I'm glad that they are in my life and that I have friends that I can hang out and be happy with.
So, I headed back down to get some change, but of course I wasn't having any luck. I wasn't stressing about it though. I just went to the Walgreens to buy a piece of gum and went to this line that only had one person. This guy told me that there was only one line for both registers. So, I didn't sweat it. I just went to the other side and was able to get serviced quicker and faster since there was no customer on the other side. I totally was able to get checked out way before he was. I went back to the station to get change and then went to the machine, but it wasn't working. I wasn't complaining. I simply went to the other side where it was working and things just fell in to place. What was even better was I didn't have to wait to long for my train. It all worked out. Now I'm home. I'm tired and I'm off to bed. Until next time.

I am so happy and grateful now that I have met some great friends in the City. Yesterday, I hung out with my friend Michael. He's a very attractive guy who is talented, funny, and honest. He invited me yesterday to hang out and have a late lunch with him. It was an excellent opportunity to get to know each other. He joked a lot about sexual innuendos and we simply had a great time. We even went to have dessert at a local shop before we headed back to the mall. He had told me about his claustrophobia and love for Chinese men. He was totally honest with me and told me that he thinks that I'm cute, but that he's not looking for a relationship just friends. He had confided in me about certain things and was finding that people were always looking to hook up when all he wants is friendship. He felt that it was complicating things and it was difficult for him. I understood and respected his wishes. I had to be honest with him as well so that things would be out in the open. Once things were all out on the table, it was easier to set those feelings aside and move on as friends. Things were not getting any better for him and the evening was cut short. It was a great time though and a great opportunity to get to know my new found friend.
Today, I didn't expect anything happen. I decided to enjoy my solitude and relax the entire day. I've been lacking a lot of sleep due to the off schedule I had a work last week. So, I didn't mind it at all. I slept off and on as well as eat a bit watching a few sitcoms, but I still felt bored. I was on the computer for a while, but even that didn't keep me interested. I switched DVDs to a science fiction cartoon to please my laziness. I had told Michael to call me today, but I didn't hear from him. I sent him a text message and told him that I hope he is well and to hang in there. He replied with a thank you and I left it at that. Not a moment later, I get a call from my other friend Eli. He asked me what I was doing and I told him that I was just relaxing. He invited me to go with him to see the musical Rent. I've always wanted to go see it, but I was just flattered that he invited me. He said that he invited another friend, but that he couldn't go because he wasn't feeling well. We set up to meet in front of the theater at 6:45pm. I jumped into the shower and dressed as quickly as possible for the occasion.
Everything was last minute and spontaneous, I hoped not be late and have missed the train. When I got there the next one wasn't going to arrive till 6:30pm. Fortunately, a train pulled up even though the sign said that it wasn't going to show up for another 14 minutes. I didn't complain because I was thinking of the positive. I got into the train and sat down listening to Anuna on my sister's iPod. I sat down and thought about the happy things going on in my life. My new friends, my family, the car that I have, the place that I live, the good housemates that I have... I even saw a mother holding her baby as we passed by. The baby was so joyful and it made me smile. I switched over to The Pianist soundtrack as I was in the mood for some Chopin. I eventually arrive at destination and hurried to the theater since it was exactly 6:45pm on the dot. I saw three security officers two of which were very cute. Anyway, I headed up the escalator that was not moving and scurried through the crowd to get to my destination. As soon as I arrived close to the theater, I phoned Eli that I had arrived. He said that he would wait for me in front, but I had immediately seen him on the phone and met up with him.
We walked into the theater together and he wanted to get a program. As soon as he got his program, we waited in line to get seated. I was very thankful that he invited me to join him to see this show. We sat down in the loge in the best seat in the house. He said that he had bought them earlier and it was a spur of the moment deal. He was lucky that those seats opened up and were available for him to buy. The person at the box office had told him that it became available, so he bought them then and there. The usher showed us to our seats and we started to have a conversation about things. It turned out that the other seat was for Michael, but he wasn't feeling well. I had a feeling it was for him, but I wasn't going to say it. He mentioned that he went to visit him earlier. I asked him how he was feeling and he said that he wasn't feeling very well. I mentioned that we had hung out the day before. We talked about a few things before the show started.
It really didn't hit me that I was at the theater watching Rent. Also, I did not know that three of the original cast members were going to be there, nor did I know that this was the last show in the City. I was amazed to see Anthony Rapp on stage. He is so HOT!!! He is so attractive. I love his glasses, the way his hair waves up and how tight his pants were. There were times where his shirt would hike up and you can see his stomach and red pin-striped boxers. He stood facing the left side of the stage and you could see how nice of a package he has as well as a nice rear. OMG! There was another guy that was totally my type. He was tall, skinny white guy who I thought was absolutely adorable. He played another character where he wore a suit, glasses, with his hair split and combed to the sides. Now that was really hot. Anyway, the first half of the show was amazing.
During the intermission, I couldn't believe I was there. It finally hit me. I was getting goosebumps everywhere on my body as they sang my favorite song from the show. I went to use the bathroom which surprisingly moved quite quickly along. Afterward, I wanted to find an ATM so that I can purchase a program, but it was time to go back to our seats as the lights flickered on and off. Fortunately, the vendors accepted credit card. I purchased my program and headed towards my seat. I remember sitting there in excitement waiting to see the rest of the show. I even kept thinking in my head that I was going to meet Anthony Rapp. I kept visualizing it in my head. The show was so amazing and sad at the same time that I nearly cried. It was so awesome. Eli and I couldn't stop talking about it. He even said that the guy who played Gordon and the business guy was cute. We have the same taste in guys. That's so awesome.
We headed out and took pictures together in the lobby in front of one of the posters. Two girls asked us if we wanted our picture taken and it was cool. After that we stepped out and we heard that the actors were coming out. He and I headed over there to see. I tried to take a picture of Anthony Rapp, but I only got one really good one. The others didn't come out because I couldn't remember to turn the flash on. Anyway, I was able to hand him my program for him to sign. I was totally speechless. He's so hot, I didn't even get to say hi or thank you. I got two other cast members to sign my program before we left the theater. Today was a spectacular day. I asked Eli if he was hungry and he said that his stomach was growling during the performance, so we went to Mel's for dinner. We had a good time talking about the show and the experience of it all.
We sat down and talked some more about stuff. Then, he started talking to me about something serious. Fortunately, I had quite a bit of experience with it many times. So, I listened and offer him advice about it. Eli and I have a lot of things in common. It was really nice to converse with him about things. I told him about my encounters that I had experienced trying to find relationships. From the few internet sites to meet guys, as well as, the club and bar experience. We had a really good talk and found that we related quite a bit. He said that I understood the closeness of families where others didn't. We had a great time talking before it got really late and he had to head out because of work. He drove me home and continued to find more and more stuff that we had in common. Before he dropped me off, he thanked me for going with him, but it was I who was thankful. Out of a day of laziness, I was able to see an amazing show, with great seats, and get the autograph of Anthony Rapp. All this with a really cool friend. Now this is what I'm truly grateful for.
I had a really long day today. I went with one of the drivers to deliver all over the City. He's tall and skinny and has the nicest eyes. He wasn't very talkative. We stopped by Carmo's little Brazilian Cafe place and it's pretty cute. He gained like 28lbs. We talked for a while before heading out to deliver. We were out delivering til about 7:00pm this evening. We came back to the terminal and he started to open up a little more. It turns out that he is friends with both Guilherme and Rafael. I miss my Rafael. Anywho, we got back and found that the Big "L" is back. I was like I can't believe he's back. I was like, why can't I have a vacation. Turns out, he was in the background. I slipped out.
I went to get my mail and found that I got a jury summons. Yeah! I went to BestBuy to exchange my DVD. Then, I was so hungry that I went to CJ's in DC. I went to eat in the restaurant and the really cute guy was working. I think he's like the shift manager at the restaurant. He's just so adorable. He was being so suave and dorky. He's so cute. I was totally get a gay vibe from him though. I ate most of my food, but I still had leftovers. I went to ask for a bag and he gave me one. I smiled at him and headed on out. He went to deliver some food and picked up some trays on his way back. As I was walking out the door, I saw him in the reflection from the door checking my ass out. I'm going to have to visit there more often.

Today was the first time that I was seen by my doctor. Usually, I would be seen by his nurse practitioner Terry. I still didn't feel well so I had to set up my appointment for that afternoon after going to work. I still felt a bit sluggish this morning. I had pressure in my sinuses, a sore throat, and my voice kept going in and out this morning. It wasn't good. I did what I could at work to work through it. Anyway, I went over to the doctor and sat in the office. I overheard Benny talking to Terry and a male voice was in the other room. I wasn't sure but I figured it out. Benny was extremely juggling the phone, so I was never really able to pay for my co-pay. The door opened and standing there was this tall, gorgeous man who looked like he walked out of a modeling shoot for GQ Magazine. He reminds me of an actor, that I can't recall his name at the moment, but I see the guys face in my mind. He has dark brown hair and gorgeous blue eyes. He wore this white, blue and brown striped collared shirt that was slightly tucked. He wore what appeared to be brown leather pants. He sat down in his desk. At first I wasn't sure it was him, but as soon as he sat down at the desk, I realized it was him. You know when someone owns something and you see that they own. It's like he commanded it and it was definitely his. I don't know if I'm explaining it right, but if you know what I mean that's all that matters. Anyway, he asked me how I was and I told him how I was feeling. He had me go sit on the examination table so that he can further... well um... examine me. He checked my blood pressure and went to the computer on the side to check something out. He had his back turned towards to me. Of course, I looked down and checked out his rear end. He didn't have a noticeably nice ass, but then again the pants doesn't show it very well. Anyway, he saw that my bp was 130/91 in which he said was a little high. He asked me if I was taking a decongestant and I told him that I was taking Mucinex DM. That's when he said that decongestants tend to increase blood pressure. He also put a thermometer under my tongue while taking my blood pressure and said that I was not running a fever and that my temperature was normal. It was at this time that I was able to gaze into his gorgeous blue eyes. Oh God, do I love blue eyes. I drifted down his face from his eyes, nose, mouth, chin, scruffiness down to his neck as I settled on the black and gray hairs that nestled between the open space of his unbuttoned collar. I'm not so much into hairy chests but I can definitely adapt since Isaac also has a hairy chest, but that's a guy of a different story. Anyway, he took out his equipment to check my ears, throat and made me say "Ahh", and also checked my nostrils. He said that the antibiotics don't kill the virus and mentioned that I still had the virus. He said that the only thing that I can do is let the virus die out. He sat down at his desk and wrote me a note for the next two days off of rest. I thanked him as he handed me the note and left his office closing the door after. I went up to Benny to pay my copay and then proceeded on out to my car. My head still hurts, but I proceeded on home. I couldn't stop thinking about how hot my doctor is. I'm going to look for a picture of the actor with similar facial appearances.
I went to meet up with Danny last night. The last time that I saw him was at my post birthday party. He had invited me to have dinner with him since his boyfriend was out of town. We were to meet up with each other in front of the Deisel on the corner of Market and Castro. I was supposed to meet him there at 8PM, but I was going to be a few minutes late because I was still on the train. He started to give me crap because I was not going to be there exactly at 8pm. It was okay because he called to tell me that he was going to be a little late as well. I waited for him for over a half hour and my feet were starting to hurt just standing there. There weren't as many attractive guys walking around as usual as I waited for him. There were these three guys doing stuff around the corner as people walked by and stared over in that direction to see what was going on.
Eventually Danny showed up and I gave him crap about being late aka "Filipino time." So, we started walking around the Castro. He kept wanting to pass this naked guy in front of the 440 who had a big pierced penis. It was kind of big while it was flacid. We walked all over the place just talking about stuff. Mostly it was about his issues with his boyfriend. He kept asking my opinion but he would always interrupt me when I would try to tell him. I got in his face about that. He invited Randy and Thomas to come with, but they were taking a while. So, we went to the Firewood grill on Diamond and 18th street. He was craving their Honey-Dijon chicken. He bought us dinner and we sat and enjoyed our food. He was oogling the cute blond guy at another table. He wanted to take a picture of him, but the guys friends got in the way. We talked some more while we ate before we went to meet up with Randy over by the Cafe. Danny needed money, so we went to the ATM before heading back to the Cafe to meet up with Thomas.
We had a hard time figuring out where to go. Thomas wanted to stop by his work to get a few drinks. I finally met his friend Ian who reminds me of James, but with glasses. Danny and Randy kept looking in the mirror to make sure that they looked good. We also met another co-worker of Thomas's, but I forget her name. Anyway, after a while, we decided to go to Badlands, but the line was really long. Then, we headed over to the QBar and ended up spending time there. There were quite a few cuties there. There was this hot blond guy who was talking to Thomas about buying drinks for him. Danny pushed my hand to the guys ass and I turned away shy. He was hot though. Thomas said that the guy flew in from Phoenix or something. He was so hot. Danny and Thomas were both getting drunk with all the drinks that they bought. The bartender behind the bar was getting a queenie. I'm not sure why, but it seems like he was getting jealous that he was not getting as much attention as his Filipino barback. Anyway, Danny started talking crap about him and the guy heard him. He told his bar back on him and he came to ask Danny if he was talking crap, but Danny denied it.
Danny was really drunk. It was almost time before we got kicked out, so Danny, Randy, and I headed out of the bar to wait outside for Thomas and his female co-worker. We talked for a little bit before she left and we started walking towards Randy's car. Thomas and Danny wanted to walk, so we walked. Thomas was hungry and Danny wanted water. So we walked, but eventually both Danny and Thomas wanted to sit down. When we got in front of a store with someplace to sit, we stopped. It was near the cafe. Some random black guy came and started talking to us about the drama that had just happened. Anyway, after a while, Randy dropped us off at the house before he took Danny and the stranger back to their house.
I slept in all day today. At one point when I was awake. Thomas told me that he thought Danny and I looked like a cute couple. I was a bit surprised by his remark. After getting to know Danny more, he complains a lot about his boyfriend. He nit picks about everything it seems like. He is still adorable though. I just never thought of it. I went back to sleep again. I'm so tired. I didn't get to go to the Folsom street fair. It was just as well.
After Saturday night, I headed home to help with the final move. I stayed the night there with my sister because she called and asked me to. It was amazing how much stuff was moved out of the house. I spent the whole day moving most of my sister's stuff out of the house and into the storage. My cousin came and introduced me to her boyfriend Joe. We talked for a little while before my sister and I went to eat. We went back and finished before I got invited to Danielle's house for dinner with Tina and Patrick. Dani cooked enchilada's and it was so good. We ate and watched the Dallas Cowboys play the NY Giants. Eli Manning is cute and so is Tony Romo.
So, I went to Brett and Monica's wedding and I ended up getting lost several times on the way there. It was very interesting. From the house, I was driving 15mph for almost an hour before I actually got off the bay bridge. Then, everything was pretty smooth until I got into Pittsburg. I got lost again like twice. Eventually got there over an hour and a half late. As soon as I got there, I met up with Tina in front of the reception hall. I got deja vu as soon as I joined her. I found it really weird. She was cool to get food with me. I saw Brett who is hot as usual and Monica was beautiful in her dress. We ate, listened to the toasts, and I met people at the table. Afterwards, we danced the money dance with Monica and I tried to with Brett. I saw his hot cousin dancing on the dance floor. He was totally dancing like a white boy, it was so cute. His name was Luke and turns out he has two other brothers. Tina and I danced with Brett and again, I had deja vu. I remember what my aunt said about deja vu. It means that if it happens, you are on the right track in your life. And I'm glad. It's been a while since I've had deja vu and I realized that the Secret made an impact on me getting to that point. I'm going to be happy for what I have and create what I want.
I forgot to mention that Thomas told me that Billy has been in love with me since I first met him. I had no idea. I don't think he's that into me anymore since he realized how much older I am now since he figured out that I'm friends with his sister. I haven't talked to Billy about it, but I don't think I will bring it up. He's a good kid, but I'm not into him. He's got long hair which is a turn off to me and he's just too young.
Anyway, Thomas and I went to the Castro last night. We downed the remaining jello shots and headed over to the bars. First we went to Trigger, but it was dead. There were a few guys in the front who vocally mentioned that one of us was cute, but I didn't know. We didn't stay long to find out. We headed over to the Q Bar. There was this nice black guy that came out of a taxi cab. Poor guy wasn't having a good night, but he didn't care anyway. He talked with us all the way to Q Bar. Thomas and I got in and we found out that there was $1 fountain drinks. We bought $20 worth of Vodka and Cranberry drinks. There were a lot of cute guys. I met this cute white guy named Tony, but he wasn't into me. He was nice though. There was a friend of his named Mauricio who liked Thomas. Of course, Thomas was making out with him and his cute friend. Tony went to dance with someone else and I was all alone. Again. This is why I hate going to the bars and clubs. It's no fun for me. I just waste money, drink a lot, and get no where. I don't even know why I even try. I've been hungover all day. I am so tired. I am so old. Things need to change. I need to change.
I had planned to go to San Jose to visit my Aunts today and drop off my laptops. It took me a while to get up, but eventually I did. I was trying to figure out how to get my bookmarks off of my laptop before it gets wiped out. It took me a while before I eventually figured it out. Thomas and I headed for San Jose and it was pretty quiet drive. There wasn't too much traffic. We were craving for Weinerschnitzel's so we went to the closest one that I knew of in Santa Clara off of El Camino. On the way there, we were at a stop light. I looked to my left and there was this cute Hispanic guy sitting on a bus stop bench. I was staring at him and he was staring at me back. I looked forward after a while then I looked back. He stared back and then started to wave. I was shocked and it took me a while to wave back at him and he smiled. That's never happened to me before.
Anyway, we ate at Weinerschnitzel's and fulfilled our craving before heading over to my Aunt's house. When we arrived at their house, they weren't there. So, we decided to go to the Westfield Oakridge Mall off of Blossom Hill Road. There were a lot of cute guys walking around. When we walked into the Apple store, there were several cute guys that I was overwhelmed by it. After a while, we decided to head out. I noticed this cute guy in a yellow shirt with really nice blue eyes. I saw him check out Thomas and then I saw him stare at me. I stared at him back then walked out. I looked back at him and he was still staring. Damn. I should've done something. Anyway, we walked around the one story mall for a while until we were bored. We decided to head over to the Westfield Valley Faire mall on the other side of San Jose off of Stevens Creek Blvd. This mall was huge. It took us a while to find parking. When we did, we walked all over the place. There were a lot of cute guys working there too. The guy at Jamba Juice, Tyler; Jonathan at Starbuck's; etc. Thomas was totally into Joe at Starbuck's. This mall was huge. By the time we left, we couldn't find my car. It turned out that we went to the wrong parking garage.
After that, we went to my aunt's house again, but they still weren't home. I called her on her cell and she said that it was okay to leave the laptops at her backdoor and she will take care of them. I thanked her and we headed over to IKEA. I was hoping to find a cabinet, but I didn't have any luck. We had dinner and walked around afterward. Thomas asked this really cute guy where the restrooms were. He was totally adorable. His name was Maurice. OMG, he was so cute. Anyway, after that, we headed home. We talked about going to the bar tonight. We'll see. I hope to find someone. Damn, I'm really horny.
I was very tired from the party last night. I didn't go to sleep until it was about 3am in the morning. Thomas and I slept most of the day Sunday. I eventually got up to some moaning that I heard from the next room by my housemate and his "female" friend. Goodness gracious, I'm so horny. I was looking at pictures of Simon Dexter and I am so attracted to him. I still think about Paul D. though. I got really horny for Simon though and I couldn't stop thinking about him when I slept that night.
Anyway, when I eventually got up in the afternoon I cleaned up the mess from the party. I took out the trash and cleaned up the stove top. I did some more laundry and was able to configure my computers wireless internet. It's not as fast as my laptop, but at least it works. I've been trying to find this song that I heard from Energy 92.7, but I can't figure it out. I tried to google it and everything and nothing. I remember thinking about going to San Jose to visit my aunts, but I was too lazy and exhausted to go anywhere. I didn't do much. Oh well. I need to take advantage of it before I go back to work.
I felt that it's time that I start get my creative side back in order. This past weekend was my post-birthday party at my new place. I invited over 20 people and of course less than half came, but that's okay because I pretty much expected it. Alvin and Jonas came first as I was watching the third season of Heroes. John and his girlfriend Mint came after and set up his Wii. Danny and Lino came after and brought me an ice cream cake from Mitchell's. I was happy about that because I wanted an ice cream cake for my birthday. Alvin, John, Mint & Jonas played tennis and bowling on the Wii while we waited for Cammille and Melissa to arrive. I sat and chatted with Danny and Lino while showing them around the house. They really liked the place. When Cammille and Melissa arrived, we took a break and had more food before we started playing Scattergories. It was a lot of fun. We hung out and talked for a while before people started to leave. Rahim came down for a while and so did Cana, but they didn't stay very long. Jonas was the first to leave, followed by Danny and Lino, then Alvin, Cammille, Melissa. John and Mint played one last game of bowling with me when Thomas arrived. It was a pretty good party. Eder had text messaged me earlier and told me he couldn't make it because he was still hung over. It's okay though. Still had a good time.
Thursday after work, I had been thinking about Danny, low and behold he called. Unfortunately, I missed his call because I didn't get my ear piece turned on quick enough. I listened to his voicemail and I was happy to hear from him. I was going to wait till I got home before I called him knowing how difficult it was going to be if I were to talk to him using the ear piece. Once I arrived at home, I returned his call and had a very nice conversation with him. He talked about school and all the homework that he had. He talked about he's getting to the point to where he was hating school. I advised him about putting too much pressure on himself. I reminded him how young he still is and how he still has so much time do it. He agreed. He mentioned that he was taking a music class. I asked him what kind of music class it was and I figured out that he was taking Music Appreciation. We got to discussing how I used to be a music major and basically said that I would help him write is paper as soon as he mentioned that he needed to attend another concert. I offered to take him to a concert and he liked the idea. We talked for a little while longer before he let me go eat dinner.
Earlier today, he called me as I was driving to Manteca. I could barely understand a few things, but he started asking me about what kind of guys I was into. I told him that I was into white guys and Latino guys. He started saying how those are the type of guys that lie and are all about sex. I asked him if it was due to his own experience, but he said no. He asked me if I liked other Filipinos and I told him why. He asked me if I was into Black guys because of something. I really didn't understand what he said and I asked him to repeat it, but I still didn't understand. I told him that I grew up with white guys and latino guys that's why I find them attractive. He was still at work and kept getting buzzed. So, he asked if he could call me back later.
Later in the evening, he had called as I was on my way to my grandmothers house. I ended up talking with him. He told me about the lady talking to him while he was talking to me earlier today. I continued our conversation where we left off and told him about what I look for in a guy. I told him that even though I'm attracted to white guys and latinos, it really boils down to personality. I told him what I was looking for basically a companion that I can care for and could care for me. Someone to share my life with and travel the world with. I kept talking about similar things and he kept saying, "You'll find somebody." He told me something about not to shoot too much for that, but he couldn't explain why. I got to my grandmother's house and I told him that I had the dates for concerts. I told him that there's one on Sunday and one on Wednesday. He said that he would let me know. Those were the only two options since he has to turn in the report by Friday.
He asked me if I was going out tonight. I told him that I wasn't and told him why. He felt bad about the situation and offered his assistance using his truck. He even said that I can call him if I needed someone to talk. That was really sweet of him. I asked him what he was doing. He said that he had homework, but he may be going out. He wasn't sure. He mentioned Lino a few times which is his ex or what I thought was his ex. It sounds like they are back together. Then, that's when it hit me. That's when everything came together. I wondered why he would talk to me especially when he had a boyfriend. Although this is just a theory, it seems to be logical. I concluded that he was searching for a boyfriend for his friend and was not really interested in me at all. Yes, maybe just to be friends with me, but basically no interest in me. His questions about what type of guys I'm into and diverting me from white guys. I'm really sad because I've been hoping that we would be something, but now I know this is what it has come down to.
I know I should just give up and stop looking. Here I am, a nice guy, who just wants to find that special someone to be with and have a slight attraction to. It's time to just throw in the hat. I'm going to have to change my life and cut out what I most want in my life. I'm just going to have to focus on me and disregard everything else. Romance is just what you see on television, but not reality. It's time for me to deal with the fact that I will be alone for the rest of my life. I know it's not very hopeful, but it's gotten me nowhere. So much for romancing the soul. This will be the last entry of this particular blog. Now onto cleansing into reality.
Well, I finally went on a date with Marc. He ended up calling in sick and playing hookie today. He wanted to have lunch and I thought why not. He liked Thai food, so we were going to meet somewhere in the City to have lunch. He kept text-messaging me as I was making my way over to the Powell Station. He asked me where I was at and I told him that I just got off the train. He said that he was by a coffee shop. There was one place that I thought of, but I didn't think that there are many cafe's at each of the stops. I had to call him once more to find that he was at the Plaza. I made my way over there and started walking down the stairs and saw him. He wasn't like I had imagined. He seemed taller in the picture and he wore glasses. I saw him take his phone out and start to call. I took out my phone to see if it was him and seconds later it rang. Sure enough it was him. He wasn't all that I had imagined him to be, but I'm just meeting him for the first time so it really didn't matter to me. Talking to him on the phone this past week, he's been really nice and sweet.
We started heading down Powell street going towards the Thai place that I had looked up. I failed to get the address of the restaurant, so we were a bit lost. We spent some time walking up and down the hills trying to find the place. I tried to look at a map, but it didn't help much. I even tried to ask this guy at a store, but he was not very helpful. I knew that it was somewhere near Taylor, but no luck. Eventually, we stopped into a coffee place and asked where there was a Thai place. They were very nice and directed us to a different Thai place. We ended up going to a place called Osha Thai.
We sat down and I had him give suggestions on what to eat since he's eaten at Thai places before. He suggested that I order the Cashew Chicken and he ordered some kind of noodle soup with different types of balls. We shared each others food and had a pretty decent time talking. After that we headed to the movie theaters at the City Centre where we had to pick between Ghost of Girlfriends Past and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I had him decide while I went to use the bathroom. It took me a while since I was looking for the restroom. When I came back, he thought that I ditched him. Anyway, he decided on Wolverine, so I bought the tickets since he bought lunch. We sat down and watched the movie. I had no idea that Ryan Reynolds was in the movie. The movie was pretty good. After that we walked up and down Market street until it was time to go home.
He sent me a message thanking me for a good time. I responded and thanked him for lunch. He mentioned that he wanted to kiss me, but that he was being respectful. With all honesty, I didn't find him attractive and just want to be friends, but I think he wants more. I wanted to wait to respond to him when I got home because the train was packed. I didn't want to be texting in the middle of all that. He kept sending me messages and calling me. I had called Will earlier to tell him that I was just on a date. When I got home and saw how many times he messaged me and called, I started to feel uncomfortable. I tried calling Will again, but he didn't pick up. I finally called Marc back and told him that it's ok. I explained to him what happened and he was fine.
Will finally called me back and I told him what happened. He said that that was a big red flag. He was calling me and texting me. It was a bit overwhelming. He was right though. I just wanted to be friends and it seems like he wants more. He told me that I need to tell him that we're just friends and that I don't owe him anything since I just met him. I don't want to hurt the guys feelings, but Will is right. I don't want to lead him on either. He suggested that I tell him that we are just friends.
Last night I went out to the Castro with Thomas and Billy. I was tired from work, but I was looking forward to it. After a long week at work, I needed some kind of release. I was excited to hang out with my Thomas and Billy. I got home from work and started cleaning up my room a little bit. Marc called me and chatted for a bit. He's a really nice, sweet guy. We talked about going to see a movie at Emeryville. He doesn't want to push it, but I think it would be cool. I think we were going to go see Angels & Demons when it comes out. Thomas had called me and I had to let Marc go. He's a very considerate guy and I told him that I would call him the next day.
I met the boys out front and took them up to my room. We hung out until we were ready. We took the Muni to downtown and it was taking a while. Thomas wanted to go meet his friend William who was working at the Armani Exchange. The train that we took ended up not working due bad brakes, so we had to get off the train and go to the nearest available train over by Market. We waited quite a while for the next train until one finally arrived. It was one train and everybody practically had to crowd into this one train. We eventually got off at our destination before the store was about to close. Thomas introduced me to his friend who had a strong grip when I shook his hand. They talked for a brief moment before we headed out to look for something to eat.
Thomas was hungry for Jack in the Box tacos, but there was no Jack in the Box to be found. We ended up going into a Carl's Jr where I had opened the door to two men with Australian accents. One of them was short and adorable. He had the nicest blue eyes and was totally cute. The boys ordered their food and I paid since they spent their money the night before. We sat down and ate our food. Thomas wasn't really hungry and I wasn't really in the mood for Carl's Jr., but I knew that I needed food in me. There was another cute by at a near by table who was totally adorable. He had nice eyes and semi-curly brown hair. Even the Australian guys sat at the table on the other side of us which I was able to view from the mirror behind Billy.
After dinner, we went back on the Muni and headed to the Castro. Well, we had to wait for a while since the trains seem to take a long time whenever we are waiting. I saw a few cute guys waiting for the train as well and Thomas saw a lot of cute Asians as well. The train finally arrived and again it was only one train. We practically had to pack ourselves in there, but it wasn't too bad. After we got off at the Castro station, we headed over to Badlands for a drink. Badlands is really not my type of bar. I always feel out of place there, but I went anyway because I wanted Thomas and Billy to have fun anyway. I bought our first drinks of the night, I believe the bartender called a Long Beach. After a while, Thomas wanted to leave so that we would meet William at the Castro station. We ended up waiting out there a while before Willaim eventually got there. At least there was eye candy for us to pass the times.
We headed over to the Lime for some drinks and there were some hotties along the way. Even when we got to the Lime, the guy who was checking our ID's was definitely hot. We got in and saw a lot of Asians. This was definitely Thomas's night, especially since he mentioned that there were hardly any the night before. We stood around drank our drinks talking while watching all the eye candy around. It's so funny how I can see all when Thomas is going to be into some guys. Anyway, after a while, we headed back to the Badlands which happened to have been more packed than before we arrived there. Thank goodness we got our stamps so that we didn't have to pay the cover.
I had been telling Thomas that I was hoping to see Danny tonight. He had been telling me to text him, but I didn't want to push him into coming. We went back to the same bartender and got the same drink again. It was pretty crowded and I saw a few hot guys there. There was even one guy who I had been looking at, but I think he had a boyfriend with him. Anyway, I ended up texting him and I hadn't heard anything from him. I thought about Tony and how he said he's usually in town on weekends visiting Jake. So, ended up texting him. He texted me back saying that he was drunk at the Badlands. I texted him back and told him that I was at the Badlands as well. I asked him where he was at and he was near the exit. Thomas went to use the restroom, so I went to look for Tony. He ended up finding me. He had the greatest smile on his face and gave me a hug telling me that he missed me. He was pretty ecstatic as was I. He wanted to go dancing and followed me back to the dance floor to rejoin Thomas.
We finally found Thomas and I introduced them to each other. We ended up dancing together most of the night. I was having a lot of fun dancing at this point. After a while, Tony went outside to take a breather while Thomas and I continued to dance. After a while, Thomas and I went outside to take a breather as well. We were both so hot and sweatie from dancing. Thomas bummed a smoke from some random guy while we stood out there and talked. Tony came out to meet us and conversed with us for a while. I told Tony that we all had one thing in common and that was working at Barnes & Noble. Thomas mentioned that he recognized Tony somewhere, but he didn't know where. Tony told us that Laura offered him the position as head cashier. I asked what happened to Olivia and Tony said that she has MS. It makes me so sad because she is a total sweetheart. It turns out that Thomas knew Olivia too and exchanged numbers as well.
Thomas and I wanted to go back to the dance floor and convinced Tony to come with. He didn't want go at first, but he caved. While we made our way through to the dance floor, Tony said that he couldn't find his friends and if they left, he asked if he could stay over at my place. I said sure. I didn't mind. We danced for a while until he got a message from Jake saying that they were leaving. So, he left and it was just Thomas and I dancing on the dance floor. After a while, he ended up finding some guy to dance with. Eventually he started dancing and making out with the guy. I found myself dancing all by myself. This is the part that I hate. I was alone. People were making out with others around me and felt outcasted. No one wanted to dance with me. I started to feel this overcoming sadness take over me. I tried to fight the feeling, but I couldn't. The bar was closing and we had to make our way out. Thomas was still making out with the boy and Billy finally appeared out of nowhere.
Slowly we were being herded out of the club. I had went to use the restroom and made a little conversation with a guy washing his hands. He had cut his hands from a broken glass that was on the floor. Afterwards I found Billy talking to some guy who turned out to be the friend of the guy making out with Thomas who had now moved with the boy into the line for his jacket still making out with the boy. Thomas eventually got his jacket and we made our way outside. He was still making out with the boy. After a while, Billy started making out with the friend. There I was, all alone with no one to kiss. I felt so unattractive and such a loner. I just wanted so much not to be there.
Eventually we started to head towards the bus stop. I was hungover with a headache and extremely thirsty. Everything was closed around us, but we kept walking. By the time that we made our way to the bus stop, it turned out that the bus doesn't come by that particular area. I didn't know what to do, so I called my friend Will. I felt bad because I woke him up. I thought that he would know since he's taken the bus before, but he didn't know. Anyway, I apologized again and let him go. We ended up walking up the hill and looking for a bus. A lot of taxis came by but they didn't want to take it because it was going to be expensive. We stopped and sat for awhile at one of the bus stops before we proceeded to walk down the street. We found our way to Haight street and found that the bus we were looking for stopped at this particular stop. So, we waited at the stop until a bus arrived.
One finally arrived but the bus was completely packed. The two people that were at the stop before us were able to make it in, but the doors closed after them. What luck. Fortunately, the doors opened again and were were able to stay on. I was going to pay, but we would've had to get off and wait for the next bus if we didn't move to the back. So, we were able to move into the bus. There was this wretched smell that was making me sick. I had smelled vomit and piss. It was so disgusting that I was trying not to throw up. I had to put my face into Thomas's hoodie just so that I wouldn't vomit from the smell. Thomas had met a few guys on the bus who were actually cute (Dillon, Brent, and some other guy with whom we couldn't remember). They were having a blast making fun of the guy. Eventually, we got off at our stop and headed back to my place. We stopped by the 7 Eleven to get something to drink to ease our hangovers.
We eventually got home and we started getting ready for bed. Thomas laid on my bed and held out his arms. I gave him a hug as he thanked me for a great time. I let the boys stay on the bed while I slept on the floor with the sleeping bag that I bought earlier that day. I was hoping that the sleeping bag would be enough to make me comfortable, but I still felt the hard wood floor on my back. Thomas kept getting text messages from the boy that he made out with throughout the night. Eventually we passed out. We didn't wake up until around 11am this morning. I popped in a Will & Grace DVD while they were getting ready. I walked them out and gave them both a hug. They didn't end up leaving till around 1pm in the afternoon. I was up for a while. I ordered some pizza for lunch and watched Will & Grace for a while. Shortly after, I ended up falling back asleep.
I woke up to a phone call from Marc. I felt bad because I told him that I would call him, but he ended up calling me. It was sweet. He was worried about me. He asked me how my night was, but I didn't tell him how I really felt. I just told him that it was fun and talked about what happened. He didn't talk long. He let me go after a while since he was heading over to the store. I asked him what he did and he said that he didn't do much but relax and play with his cat and dog. After a while, I got a call from Will who told me about his playdate with the London boy. He said it was hot and I was happy for him. He kept cutting in and out since he was on the train. After a while, I started crying after I got off the phone with him. I really need a big change in my life. I saw this commercial about a movie in Greece. Going away seems to be a great idea right now.
Anyway, as far as Danny. He eventually sent me a text message with just a smilie face. Then he sent me another text message about something else. I'm just getting really confused. I'm just in a huge emotional state right now and I hate it. I eventually left the house for a little bit and tried calling Marc apologizing for not calling him like I said that I would but he didn't pick up. So, I left him a message and told him that I didn't want him to think that I was a flake. I went to the 7 Eleven and bought some stuff to gorge myself with. I'm just not handling things very well and I hate that I always eat when I'm depressed. I've been waiting to hear back from Will, but he didn't call back. I knew that he sensed that I wasn't happy, but I managed to divert my attention to his day and not mine. It's 11:15pm now. I think I'm going to go to sleep now.
I got a phone call from Marc today as I was heading home from work. I was surprised that he called since he never returned my call on Monday. I was on my way to get some dinner when he called. I was having trouble hearing him through my earpiece. I felt bad and told him that I would call him back when I got home. I got home and called him, but he didn't answer the phone. So, I left him a message. He called after a while and we had a very pleasant conversation. He asked a lot of questions about me. Where I lived, how many roommates I had, where I lived, where I grew up, about Stockton, what were plans going to school, what I liked to do in my free time, what I do for work, etc.
I asked him a few questions. He works in Menlo Park as a social worker. He lives in Hayward and owns his own house. He grew up in San Jose with his brother for a while before moving to Hayward. He also lived in San Leandro for a while. He got his bachelors and masters at San Jose state and is currently working on getting his licensing. He has a cat and a dog. Lives with a male roommate that is into rap. He listens to 99.7 and 102.9, likes R&B. He knows a bit about Filipinos. He works with Filipinos. He's tried Pancit, lumpia and adobo.
He asked me more about me and we talked about me coming out to some family members. My relationship with my father and relatives. He asked me if I met a lot of people from Match.com. We had a good time talking to each other. He hopes to come over one day and have me cook pancit or adobo for him. We talked about how I hear my news, how greg the gay sportscaster sounds completely different from how he looks. We talked for almost two hours. I really had a pleasant time talking to him. We even talked about our sleeping schedules. He sleeps between 9 and 11, but wants to get up at 6 instead of 7. He goes to work Monday through Fridays from 830 to 430 and works at the hospital on weekend for extra cash. We talked about how Single guys pay more taxes. He bought a house to counter that which began the discussion on ways to alleviate that. He's a really nice guy and I'm looking forward to getting to know him more. So before he got off the phone he asked me about when's a good time to call. I told him before I let him go have his dinner. He also was being considerate by letting me sleep during my bedtime.
Well, it's been a so-so day. I went on a ride-a-long with one of the drivers after he was in an accident last week. He's a really cool guy and I had a pretty good time conversing with him on the ride even though I was kind of car sick and a bit tired from the weekend. I got home really late... surprise, surprise. That's sarcasm since it's hard to portray that on blogs. Anywho, I haven't been feeling the best lately. I've been hanging in there as usual thinking about my life and the things that I want most. I had some dinner, which I shouldn't have eaten since I'll be heading to bed soon.
I was getting my cell phone out of my backpack when I noticed that I received a text message from Danny asking me how I was doing. He also asked me what "kept boy" meant. Honestly, I had no idea, so I Google'd the term and found that it means the younger counterpart to the "Sugar Daddy" relationship. So, I was about to text him back with the explanation when I accidentally pressed the button to call him. Oops. I listened for a moment and heard footsteps, then a voice had said "Hello." It was Danny. I said hi and I told him what had happened. He asked me if I had an answer to his question. I explained it to him and he asked me if it was a strong term. I wasn't quite sure what he was asking, but I told him that I had never heard of it before. I remembered when we first met he mentioned that he was looking for a sugar daddy and I told him that he must be really looking for one. He asked what I meant by it and I told him that I remembered when he mentioned it. He said that he was just kidding.
He told me that he just got out of class with his friend Randy in which I told him to say hi. I asked him how his grandmother was. He was surprised that I remembered him mentioning it. He said that his Aunt was also down, but now they were on their way to London. I told him how lucky they were to go and how I would love to go there. He said that he would too, but he didn't have the money. He mentioned how he wanted to see me and I told him that I wanted to see him as well. He said that he needed to get his homework done tonight, tomorrow night, and Friday night, so that he can come out and hang out with me on Saturday. It put a smile on my face. I told him that I would really like to see him and mentioned that I didn't do anything this past weekend. He said that he didn't do anything this past weekend either.
Randy had just dropped him off at his truck and he had to let me go. I told him that I was looking forward to seeing him soon. So, we got off the phone. I decided to send him a message and tell him that he made my day. He sent me a text message back saying the same thing. I'm really liking this guy.
Saturday I received several text messages from Danny about what we were doing tonight. To be honest, I really wasn't sure. The only reason that I was really going out was to see him again. I convinced Will to come with me later that night. I wasn't sure where to go and I remember that Danny was planning on going to Badlands that night. Will really wasn't in the mood to go there, but I really didn't care. We ended up going there anyway even though Will didn't want to. I really didn't know why until I got there that night.
He had wanted to get there before 10pm so that he wouldn't have to pay a cover charge which is a good reason to go early. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it because I took a while to get ready. Poor guy got there really early and needed me to get there soon due to all the Asians hitting on him. I eventually got there and it was packed. Not as packed as it was going to be later that evening, but packed enough to where there were people everywhere. We grabbed a couple drinks and he was instantly attracted to the bartender who was tall with tattoos.
Anyway, we stood there and waited for Danny to show up. The longer we waited, the more drinks we had. By the time Danny had arrived, I had drank about four glasses of something. He had sent me a text message informing me that "they" were here. I saw him outside the window and noticed that he had a different look to him. As he got closer to the door, my face developed a smile until the moment he introduced me to his boyfriend. I should've expected as much, but the romantic in me didn't want to believe. And there he was right in front of me. Danny introduced what's his name to me and I just smiled and said that it was nice to meet him.
The boyfriend went off to the bar as Danny conversed with me. I had introduced him to Will with whom was being such a friend to come with me. Danny and I spent most of the night talking about what was going on with him when I confronted him about his not so cheery disposition. To my dismay, he began to talk to me about his boyfriend and the fight that they had prior to coming to the bar. I didn't know what to do, but just try to be a friend. I had to try to be a friend to someone with whom I have only known for one night. Someone that I was attracted to and with whom I thought had similar feelings. I was confused and drunk at the same time. Not at all an uncommon combination.
I spent that time telling him to follow his heart. He asked me if he should break up with him, but I know that's not my right to tell him because that would've been for selfish reasons. The only thing I could do was suggest that he do what he felt is right. I explained that his happiness must come first and no one else, an advice that I should be following myself. Anyway, he continued to talk and say how funny things are even though things weren't funny at all. The only thing keeping me from being disappointed was my drunken stupor. I gave him the best advice that I could give. He mentioned "red flags" that happened with his last relationship and ended up taking the time to explain them before he understood.
Will was being a friend and gave us some time with each other. I didn't know it at the time, but he did. At least that's what he told me the next day and he's a good friend for that. After a while, the boyfriend prompted them to go home and Danny ended up leaving. He asked me if it would be okay for him to call me the next day and I told him that it would be fine. He left soonafter with his boyfriend and left me at the corner next to the window by myself. I think Will bought me another drink which pushed me beyond the brink of drunkenness.
We left the bar and went to eat pizza. Will says that pizza is so good after drinking. All I know was that I was really drunk. He bought me pizza and we sat down to eat. We met these two people next to us and ended up befriending them. The girl was named Jenn and the guy Nelson, both of which are Asian. They were cool and a lot of fun. Will told me that I was hilarious. I sat next to Nelson and he happened to be cute for an Asian guy. And I am definitely not into Asian men. In this case, he's a boy at the age of 21. It's all good though. They were both cool and during the short time we spent with them, we had a blast. What was even more cool is that Nelson offered to take us home. That was really nice of them. I'm drunk. I'm tired. I got a party to go to tomorrow. I'm going to bed.
This weekend has been one of the best times in my life, yet it was one of the most confusing. Friday, I met up with some of my co-workers at a bar in the Castro. My friend Cris was bringing his brother in law who was coming down to visit from Brazil. It turns out that he's gay and he introduce him to me so that I can show him around the Castro while he is in California. I was waiting for my friend Will, but something is going on with him. I've been noticing it for a while, but I didn't want to bother him about it since he also found out that his grandmother has Alzeimer's. Basically, he ended up not showing up or going home. I was worried about him to.
Anyway, I hung out with Cris and his brother in law Leo. Leo is kind of cute. I wasn't sure what to expect, but he's a nice guy. I really liked the atmosphere at Toad Hall. It was a more mature crowd and pretty mixed. There were some pretty cute guys there. There were barely any queens in there. There were several attractive guys there that I was checking out. There was one tall older guy that had checked me out. I smiled at him, but I didn't pursue it. There was another cute guy that walked around a lot. I thought he was cute, but I was too shy to say anything. I didn't know if he was interested or not, but I sensed he was a bit arrogant. Freakin' Cris bought me a shot of Tequila and I don't do those very well. I couldn't say no and I had to down the shot. Thank goodness it was earlier in the evening.
Cammy brought her friend Espy with her. I hadn't seen her in a while. It finally was getting more enjoyable when they showed up. They joined us on the dance floor and we danced for a little bit. They went and got drinks before we headed to the back where they wanted to smoke and this is where things got interesting. I was actually having a great time. Suddenly this very cute guy walked in and stood behind one of my friends. He was standing there with his friend and he immediately caught my attention. He had the most adorable smile and one of the nicest eyes I've ever seen. I saw him look at my direction a few times when he started to whisper something to Espy. Espy introduced us to him. His name was Danny. The moment he opened his mouth, the sexiest thing just spoke with an accent and I almost melted. Here I was talking to this attractively cute guy with an accent that is possibly attracted to me.
He initiated a lot of the conversations. He was sweet and spent most of the time conversing with me. He talked to the others every once in a while since we were in a group, but there were times when it was just him and I. I complimented him on his eyes and his appearance for which he was thankful for. Through our conversations I found that he was 23 years old. He comes from Union City and his parents are from Spain. He had one of the greatest smiles I've ever seen. At one point, some guy came and started to talk to him. It turned out to be someone he knew, so I went back to talk to the others. After a while, he returned my circle of friends and asked to talk to me personally on the other side of the yard.
So, I followed him and he apologized to me about the guy who had come up to talk to him. He told me that he was supposedly a friend, but that he was a drama queen. Those weren't the exact words, but that's pretty much what he was trying to say. I told him that it was fine. I really didn't mind. I thought that it was very thoughtful for him to say so even though it wasn't necessary. We went back to my friends and continued to converse with them. Leo and Cammy went and got some shots while we talked about his going to school in Hayward and living in the ghetto. He had this cute smile that just was adorable. Cammy and Leo came back bringing back several shots of Petron. They even brought some for Danny and his friend Randy. It was some potent stuff. Man, I can't stand tequila.
Anyway, Cammy took some pictures of us with her camera. He had his arm around me and I had my arm around him. Cammy several pictures of him and I, but there was no flash. After a while, Danny asked me for my phone number. They told me to get his phone number prior, but I didn't think I should at that point. He ended up asking first. He got my number, put it on his cell phone and called it. So, I saved his number on my phone. I asked him if I can get a picture of him on my phone just so that I would know who it was. So, he let me. He didn't seem to like the picture, but he didn't mind. I started feel special. Finally someone is interested in me and in pursuit of me. Yeah, he's a little young for me, but at this point in my life, I can't be picky. Besides, if nothing comes of it, at least I would gain a friend which is something I need more of around here.
They were closing the back yard and moved us to the dance floor. We ended up dancing until the close of the bar. Leo was very disappointed that the bar was closing so early. They kept trying to get us to leave. Initially, he shook my hand before we parted. He gave everyone else a hug, so I said goodbye again and gave him a hug goodbye before we left. Sometime during the evening, I had overheard that he may have a boyfriend. Even though I had a really nice time with him, I was confused at why he would be asking for my number if he has a boyfriend. I don't know what's going on, but I'm just going to be happy about how the night went. And to think, I wasn't planning on going out that night. I'm glad that I did.
